This was a passion project I did in order to bring attention to the endangered Monarch Butterfly species. I created three unique designs that highlighted the beauty of the species by focusing on their natural colors and characteristics, such as their wings and the milkweed plants they frequent for food and reproduction. My goal was to have designs that were different from each other, but still felt like they were from the same series. For that I focused on the wing forms and the orange tones that are specific to these butterflies.
